In Panama it is mandatory to have Internal Work Rules (Reglamento Interno de Trabajo) if the company has more than 10 employees. Not having this document can lead to fines and sanctions from MITRADEL.

Legal requirements for the Internal Rules:

• Companies with more than 10 workers are required to have it.
• It must be registered and approved by MITRADEL.
• A copy is given to each worker upon hiring.
